Amber Hunt is a partner focusing on estate planning, probate, and trust administration at Woodinville Law, licensed to practice in Washington and Colorado. She grew up in Southern Colorado and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver. Amber went on to receive her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in Houston and later completed her Tax LL.M. at the University of Washington School of Law.
Early in her career, Amber built a broad foundation across several areas of law. She worked as a law clerk for a business immigration firm, interned with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office—one of the largest district attorney’s offices in the country—on felony matters and handled numerous cases with Harris County in the Civil Asset Forfeiture Division. During this time, she also volunteered with the Randall O. Sorrels Legal Clinic at South Texas College of Law, helping guide veterans through post-discharge legal issues.
After moving from Houston to Seattle, Amber shifted her focus to estate planning, probate, and trust administration. Her Tax LL.M. allows her to assist a wide range of clients with complex assets and estate planning goals, including the preparation of last wills and testaments and revocable living trusts. Amber also advises clients on estate tax mitigation and structured gifting strategies through various types of irrevocable trusts.
Amber also serves on the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce board of directors. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and participating in autocross events, track days, and car meets.
